About Head of GT Sales Service and Digital US

  A Snapshot of Your Day

  Reporting to Head of Grid Technologies (GT) Sales North America United States –in this role you will lead the GT Service and Digital (SD) Sales organization locally. You will be responsible for the implementation of the GT SD Sales strategy locally, and for meeting the goals of the execution units in line with the SE business conduct guidelines, leading to profitable growth across the whole GT portfolio.

  You will be working hand in hand with operations and execution teams to provide bids, forecasts, resource allocations, negotiations and signing of GT SD Sales contracts locally. Your responsibilities will include setting and managing the countries’ targets and priorities in line with the GT SD Sales strategy, and supporting the Sales organization whilst they influence the short, medium, and long-term buying and business requirements of our customers.

  You will drive and facilitate all related sales activities locally while collaborating extensively with the related SE Hub and all GT sales functions, as well as execution units for cross country / cross Business Areas and vertical opportunities.

  ·Meeting or exceeding growth and financial targets, penetrating and extending SE reach in the market, and driving the GT sales strategies in a safe and profitable manner, while helping to solve the demanding energy needs and challenges of our customers.

  · Positioning the organization as a strategic partner with all customers and sales channels to deliver mutually profitable business solutions.

  · Developing customer loyalty and satisfaction on a sustainable basis and penetrating new market verticals with potential for long term growth.

  · Ensuring the regional business strategy of SD and GT is understood and cascaded down and communicated effectively in the organization.

  · Supporting strategic key customers' business development initiatives within the respective area and potential cross areas/Hubs interaction.

  · Driving customer focus within the organization and initiating / contributing to planning of customer related product development requests.

  · Ensuring the proper processes, accountability and tracking are in place to drive transparent operation of the organization.

  · Driving talent development / pipelining and succession planning in the region and enabling a high-performance culture of business excellence and continuous improvement, with motivated employees and retention of key staff.

  · Ensuring clear communication, vision, and direction for the team.

  · Developing and proposing sales budgets, market intelligence and growth forecasts aligned with the regional sales strategy while ensuring the implementation of sales guidelines and sets sales targets for the GT SD sales organization.

  · Formulating, aligning, communicating, and continuously monitoring the diverse Sales pipelines (Salesforce) necessary to deliver order intake targets.

  What You Bring

  · Bachelor's degree in engineering and /or Business with relevant sales management experience across multiple portfolio elements within power transmission.

  · Experience with SD, sales planning, CRM utilization (Salesforce) and business forecasting

  · Willingness to travel regionally and on occasion globally to support the needs of the business and our customers.

  · Experience and proven track record in people leadership. Significant competence management related to sales, bid management and operational execution. Including working with 3 rd party partners

  · Deep understanding of the T&D Market, Customer and competitor behaviors/patterns, Business Models/Types (e.g., Product/Systems/Solutions Projects and order execution as well as Service/Digital) aligned to the most effective Sales channels. Network in Utility, Industrial and Renewable fields.

  · Versatile interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to prioritize and manage own time effectively to achieve targets, particularly in a multi stakeholder environment.

  · High business results orientation with the ability to steer virtual teams coupled with excellent communication skills towards a structured, analytical, and responsible way of working.

  · Effective organizational skills with the ability to delegates responsibility and solves problems quickly.

  · Ability to bring new GT products to market and show value proposition.

  The GT North America Sales team works hand in hand withoperations and execution teams to provide bids, forecasts, factory allocations,negotiations and signing of GT Sales contracts.
