Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Maryland Heights, MO.Summary:The Cloud Solutions Architect will produce architecture blueprints that guide the development and implementation of Cloud solutions across multiple products, providing direction to technical teams during project delivery and ensuring implementations support technology and product roadmaps. The Cloud Solutions Architect provides their expertise in the development and maintenance of architecture standards and solutions that align with strategic goals and partner with product managers, business analysts, designers, and software engineers to navigate solution decisions.Responsibilities:
Cloud Solutions Architect will be responsible for creating solutions and presenting compelling recommendations to customers
Define operational procedures and practices Define KPIs and set up appropriate health-checks, monitoring and escalation procedures
Accelerate development for roadmap features, to address specific customer requirements
Identify ongoing risks and pain points throughout the project, develop and implement mitigation measures
As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the knowledge base, blogs, and brown bag lunches
Capture project lessons and convert them into architectural best practices applicable to the broader install base; Mentor and coach the internal team through internal training sessions
Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to review customer requirements and feedback, and identify opportunities for platform enhancements
Professional Cloud Solutions Architect (PCSA) Certification
5- 10 years of experience
Knowledge of enterprise cloud solutions, deploying and running solutions in a cloud environment, and private, public, and hybrid clouds
Extensive experience with Internet technologies and protocols like TCP/IP, VPN, SSL and HTTP
Hands-on experience with public and private cloud services (AWS, OpenStack, VMware, etc.) as well as load balancers and networking devices
Experience designing high availability and disaster recovery/fail-over infrastructures
Development experience with database or application integration technology
Deep knowledge of Linux fundamentals
Knowledge of Open Source architectures and/or past contributions to open source projects
Design, development and operations experience with highly-available, scalable, and fault tolerant systems
Experience with agile/scrum methodologies
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
