Job Title: Automotive Service Technician
Colony Tire is currently seeking a full-time Automotive Service Technician to join our team! Our technicians work for competitive pay in a fast-paced environment. Summary:
Employee will be required to perform tire and auto-related service as well as other duties as assigned by the manager.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:
Follow established procedures to inspect tires, wheels and vehicles before and after service.Review work orders and discuss work with supervisors.Document work performed accurately and according to company policy.Raise vehicles using hydraulic jacks and/or automotive lifts.Unbolt and re-bolt wheels from/to vehicles, using lug wrenches and other hand and power tools.Mount and dismount tires onto wheels.Identify and inflate tires correctly for the size and ply.Place wheels on balancing machines to determine counterweights required to balance wheels. Hammer required counterweights onto rims of wheels.Replace valve stems and remove puncturing objects.Rotate tires to different positions on vehicles.Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services such as but not limited to oil changes, and lubrications.Road test cars as directed by management.Pull vehicles in and out of shop safely.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Mechanical- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Operation and Control- Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
Active Listening- Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
Operation Monitoring-
watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.

Extent Flexibility- the ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with you body, arms, and/or legs.
Static Strength- the ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects.
Knowledge of commonly used tools- Ability to recognize and used a variety of tools, including but not limited to power tools, such as pneumatic wrenches, machine tools, such as lathes and grinning machines, jack sand hoists, and common hand tools.
