This is a 2nd shift Manufacturing / Automation Engineering Role
Description:
The primary function of this role is to provide technical expertise for solving mechanical and automated process issues and to act as a key contact for the processes to communicate updates and meet production deliverable. This person will bridge the gap between maintenance, die shop, controls engineering and process engineering. The primary goals are to support the improvement of plant metrics and any current/upcoming new model launch activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead continuous improvements and provide technical expertise solving process problems.
Troubleshoot equipment and part defects. Implement corrective actions quickly and effectively.
Manage process documentation such as work instructions and setup instructions.
Optimize the manufacturing processes to improve quality and material flow, while reducing cycle times.
Work with the launch team during development and launch of new equipment, tooling, and processes.
Provide training for new and modified processes.
The primary equipment and processes this person will interact with on a daily basis are:
Troubleshooting mechanical back folder issues
Troubleshooting ultrasonic welders
Troubleshooting and setting up KEYENCE sensors
Troubleshooting, making adjustments and setting up robots and co-bots

Additional Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Mechatronics preferred
