Girl Scouts San Diego is seeking applicants to fill our Annual Fundraising Campaign Strategist Position.
The Annual Fundraising Campaign Strategist will develop and implement strategies that will grow our annual giving program. This position is responsible for managing and supporting donor appeals, monthly donor programs, employee giving and stewardship activities. This position will also manage our donor database.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop creative strategies that will grow our annual fund program using a multi-channel approach.
Develop segmented strategies and communications to increase giving, such as Giving Tuesday and other known giving events.
Monitor and track donor retention, response rates, average gift amounts and develop strategies to improve the numbers year-over-year.
Along with the MarComm team and vendors, create, design, and implement annual giving appeal campaigns.
Provide oversight of the donor database and manage the Donor Support Specialist who enters and acknowledges gifts in Raiser’s Edge and provides regular reporting on contributions. Serves as backup for gift processing and gift acknowledgments.
Identify major gift prospects for individual gift cultivation.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Three years' experience in fundraising
Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to share the impact of the Girl Scout mission in a compelling way
Ability to translate data to inform fundraising strategies
Shows initiative and possesses personal qualities including integrity, curiosity, and the willingness to try new things.
Valid drivers’ license, proof of insurance, and access to reliable transportation. Daily and/or occasional travel may be required.

The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000
